The Role We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Project Manager - Vice President to lead complex, cross-functional pharmaceutical projects at a global level. This role plays a key part in driving strategic initiatives across R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions. This position combines strong leadership responsibility with hands-on global project governance, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with Synthon's strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities o Lead and govern global, high-complexity pharmaceutical projects and programs across multiple regions o Define project strategy, scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation o Drive cross-functional alignment between R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams o Act as senior project sponsor and escalation point for critical issues and risks o Ensure robust project governance, reporting, and decision-making frameworks o Manage stakeholder expectations at executive and senior management level o Support portfolio prioritization and strategic planning in line with company objectives o Promote a strong project management culture and continuous improvement mindset o Represent project management at global leadership forums and steering committees Your Profile o University degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field (PhD or MBA is an advantage) o Extensive experience (10+ years) in global project or program management within the pharmaceutical industry o Proven track record of leading large, cross-functional, international projects o Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development, regulatory processes, and lifecycle management o Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills o Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels o Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage) o Willingness to work from, Czech Republic (with occasional international travel) What We Offer o A senior leadership role with real global impact o Opportunity to shape and influence strategic pharmaceutical projects o International working environment with high professional standards o Competitive compensation and benefits package o Long-term career opportunity in a stable and respected pharmaceutical company
